B2B Emarket B2B electronic marketplace is built around catalog management system Catman. Basically, it is B2B application, which enables electronic marketplace functionality on Internet and exploits some of the newest technology breaks in web design and online applications like web services and SOAP. B2B Emarket enables multi level user access (sellers, buyers, Catman users) and contains advanced article browse mechanism and parametric search engine using parameters like price scopes, guarantees, delivery availability and stock quantity of articles. One of the things that differs Emarket from catalogue system like Catman, is high communication level among users. Buyers can send requests for quote for articles, or negotiate with suppliers, which can eventually reduce their purchase cost. In addition, sellers or suppliers can organize mail notifications, bulletins and auctions for their articles, which raise whole business to higher level comparing to offline business. Also, portal contains advanced banner system, with click monitoring option, which eases later marketing analyses.
